I joined the board 3 months ago. This is an organization that genuinely enjoys helping. Last year, Social Promise sent $80,000 to their partners in Uganda thanks to the generosity of our donors and well wishers. Social Promise does not only provide financial support to our partners in Gulu, but we also send medical supplies such as wheel chairs for use by the disabled in the community. One great thing about this organization is how we make sure that all the donations go to benefit the community we are supporting. One way by which we do this is by sending at least one board member each year to Gulu to check on our partners (St.Jude Children's Home and Lacor Hospita)l. These visits enable us to see and experience the impact our donations are having on the community.

I will encourage everyone to support this great cause and if possible join us to Gulu on our next trip there.
