Review for Yellow Ribbon Fund Inc, Bethesda, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Yellow Ribbon Fund was the first nonprofit assisting soldiers that considered the entire military family and their needs, not just the needs of our soldiers. They tirelessly look for ways to help wounded soldiers and their family members adjust to the changes they have to make and the healing that needs to take place. Their programs are designed with positive direction and goals, and range from helping families move, finding places for them to live, providing activities to help them relax and bond with others, and generally providing support in all possible areas. When they are made aware of a need, they work tirelessly to meet it. I am proud to be a volunteer of an organization that is self-less and purposeful in their desires to serve our military families.

Review for Yellow Ribbon Fund Inc, Bethesda, MD, USA

I have had the priviledge of serving as an occasional volunteer with the Yellow Ribbon Fund at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland. The dedication the staff and volunteers shows the members of the military as well as their families is heartwarming and inspiring. This wonderful group of people clearly understands that when a member of a family serves in the military, the whole family serves - and sacrifices. The support and love they provide is an inspiration. No one walks out of there without being deeply touched by the Yellow Ribbon Fund. They are truly changing lives for the better.
