Review for Tabby's Place: a Cat Sanctuary, Inc., Ringoes, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As a cat lover; I have never seen a place more wonderful than Tabby's Place. It is a cat lover's dream come true. They rescue cats from hopeless situations and turn their lives right around. They take in those cats that other shelters would consider unadoptable and unwanted. They give these cats a second chance at life, the chance they deserve. At Tabby's Place the cats are given all of the medical care, and all the love and affection they could possibly ever need. The founder, his wife and his staff are all wonderful people- you just can't top what they do for these kitties. When you adopt a cat from Tabby's you are saving two cats; the one you adopted and you are making room for them to bring in another cat- quite possibly one that may have otherwise been euthanized at another shelter. Keep in mind Tabby's Place is a no kill sanctuary. Please check them out when you have a chance. There are many wonderful cats there of all ages. I can tell you from experience that adopting an adult cat is extremely rewarding. And yes of course, the little kittens are adorable too. If you are not able to adopt a cat at the moment; consider making a donation. Trust me it will definitely be put to good use.

Review for Tabby's Place: a Cat Sanctuary, Inc., Ringoes, NJ, USA

My husband and I adopted a cat from Tabby's Place in 2007. We actually went there looking for a kitten, but then decided to adopt an adult cat. We named the cat Pumpkin, and he is an absolutely wonderful cat. He is a lovable, caring, affectionate lap cat. He is perfect! I feel like not enough people want to give these adult cats a chance, and 9 times out of 10 they end up making the best pets. We fell in love with Tabby's Place after being there and finding out what it's all about. How could you not love a place dedicated to helping and saving innocent cats, cats who might have otherwise been euthanized because they weren't being adopted quickly enough. Pumpkin loves people, but is not a huge fan of other cats. So we are not able to adopt any other cats. Since we can't adopt any more cats, we sponsor a special needs cat for only $16 a month, less than $2 a day. Sponsoring a special needs cat is something I would highly recommend, it's a great feeling knowing that we are doing something to help these wonderful cats, who if it weren't for Tabby's Place may not be with us anymore. Tabby's Place is definitely any cat lovers dream come true. You should definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the love I receive each and every day from my absolutely wonderful cat, Pumpkin who I adopted from Tabby's Place.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

wonderful. The staff at Tabby's Place greatly appreciate anything and everything you are able to do to help them and the cats at Tabby's Place, no matter how great or small, everything is so greatly appreciated by them.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

increase the size of their facility and be able to save even more cats than what they are able to save now!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time
