Review for Center For International Environmental Law (CIEL), Washington, DC, USA
CIEL's internships are the ideal positions for those looking to be involved in international environmental policy, communications, and law. Whereas legal interns are required to have law experience, CIEL's "environmental communications" and "human rights and development finance" positions are great options for younger or non-legal environmental students. I worked as an environmental communications intern under Amanda, and had a rewarding and well-rounded experience. Despite only being an undergrad, I had the privledge of working closely with all staff members and completing assignments that I know will help CIEL in the longrun. I would say the internship was incredibly educational with the added bonus of work experience thrown in. The organization has so much to teach!
