Review for Best Friends Animal Society, Kanab, UT, USA
Best Friends is the best thing that has happened for animals. I have visited the Sanctuary in Utah a couple of times and the work they do and the care the animals are given is beyond amazing. They take neglected, abused, and unwanted animals and show them what love is. They don't give up on the hardest cases and will take care of them until they find a forever home or until it is time for them to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Best Friends not only helps animals in Utah but works with with other rescue organizations across the country. I only wish I lived closer so I could volunteer at the Sanctuary. They truly want to Save Them All!

Best Friends is an outstanding organization whose purpose is to help and save the lives of all animals. I have witnessed their work from visit a to their Utah headquarters. I have seen the love and dedication they show to the animals under their care. But their work does not stop there. They work with groups and shelters across the country to "save them all." Best Friends IS the best of friends to all animals!

I fell in love with Best Friends from the moment I visited the Sanctuary. The love and care shown the animals is truly outstanding. Since that visit six years ago, I have supported them wherever I could and spread the word about the wonderful job they do. As a teacher, it is important that today's youth realize the importance of treating the animals with the love, kindness, and respect they deserve. I have used the example of Best Friends as how we are suppose to treat our fellow creatures. I am looking forward to visiting the Sanctuary again this Fall.
Review for Saving Our Avian Resources S O A R, Dedham, IA, USA
As a teacher, I have had my class follow the egg laying, hatching, and growth of the eagles of the Raptor Research Project for the last several years. Unfortunately, this year one of the eaglets broke a wing and was taken to SOAR for treatment. Not only did the wonderful people at SOAR mend the wing and now have the eaglet in "rehab" but they kept all of us who watched this eaglet be born and grow informed as to its condition. This was a wonderful lesson for my students who live in a large metropolitan area to know that there are people who care about these magnificent creatures so that someday they too might have a chance to see them in the wild for themselves.
