I am proud and honored to be on the board of the Best Foot Forward Foundation because of the outstanding academic support and guidance they provide to youth in foster care. As an educator for over 40 years, I know how important it is for children to be successful in school. Due to their turbulent lives, youth in foster care are often at a disadvantage in school. The Best Foot Forward Foundation provides Educational Advisors and tutors to assist these children, so they can gain the essential knowledge and skills they are missing to experience success.

Our Educational Advisors and tutors work in a myriad of ways to ensure that the foster care youth in our program are successful in school and reach their full potential. We currently work with elementary, middle, high school and college youth empowering them to lead productive lives. I know first-hand that every day in every way our organization is making a positive difference in the lives of the foster care youth we serve, which makes the Best Foot Forward Foundation a truly “GREAT” Nonprofit!
