Review for Beach Health Clinic Inc, Virginia Bch, VA, USA
As a volunteer of Beach Health Clinic and resident of Virginia Beach, I must say that this place is truly a gem. There is not another charity, non-profit organization, or place in the city that is completely sustained by volunteers. The administrative staff does a fantastic job of organizing and helping this charity provide health care completely free of charge. With the grants and donations, the clinic does its best to fulfill its consummate mission of bringing comprehensive health care to the uninsured of this city. They've always been completely dedicated to their work, goals, and helping those who cannot be helped by other organizations. The volunteers here are warm, kind, and so loyal to giving back to their local communities. There is a true respect for the work that the volunteer providers and the support staff do on a daily basis, when the truth is that no one has to do this. Though much of the work may go unnoticed at times, the patients' lives that are transformed and impacted in such a positive way shine light on the growing need for people and places such as this. I will always come back to help in any way I can for such a responsible, committed group of people that make this place the treasure it is. The leadership of the organization is both visionary and effective by expanding its reaches into the dental realm. Now, there is a place for those who have no dental care to be able to receive some helpful services and be relieved of pain and suffering. Overall, patients and those in need have somewhere to call a medical home and become healthier, happier residents of the city.
