This is a horse rescue I support with donations of racing memorabilia, promoting on social media and often bidding. Special horses helps many rescues, smaller ones who need the help the most. It is promoted by a wonderful rescue horse (via his owner) on Facebook. The lady who runs this is "Special" too. She is an unsung hero in the world of Thoroughbred rescue. I will continue to support Special Horses in anyway I am able to do.

I have seen this facility work miracles in restoring animals who have been abused, back to health. Any equine in their care will always have a home, even if they have been adopted and the new owners can no longer care for them----the equine is welcomed back with open arms to stay until their last day.

I live near Chicago, So I could not volunteer for this farm, but if I were nearby, I would be there in a heartbeat.
