Review for Non-Profit No Longer Exists, , ,
I have been living in Peru and serving with MMI full time for 4 years with an additional 10 hear history with MMI doing short term projects. I love the way we incorporate sharing the Gospel through the works of service that we do. It's a whole person approach. The way we are able to interact with patients so personally is life changing. I will treasure the relattionships with patients and coworkers that I have met through MMI forever. Being able to give back to the poor from the many blessings we have in the USA is priceless.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Hire more staff to help with short term project management in the Texas office. An idea: targeted fundraising efforts one at a time to support projects in other countries versus general fundraising and spreading it between projects. For example, in xx country they need $25,000 for a vehicle. All donation efforts would be made to complete that goal and then move onto the next. Countries could apply for assistance in this area and feel that their need is going to be assisted for fundraising.
