Review for Sierra Nevada Journeys, Reno, NV, USA
Thank you for what you do! The program was wonderful, and everyone on staff was exactly what each circumstance needed them to be. I dream of schools where learning is experiential, not just memorizing information about other people’s experiences & data. I work for change within my classroom, and having a resource such as Grizzly Ranch is such a gift. For many kids, it’s the first experience of mountains, creatures, hiking, etc and hopefully the beginning of a life-long relationship with outdoors.
Just so you know, many of our students have had painful, scarring events in their lives and have trouble remembering what’s good and true. Yet in every picture their faces are lit with joy. I’m not making that up, it’s all true.
I'm sure our students will have great memories - they can't stop talking about all they experienced!
