My Nonprofit Reviews

Vicki
Review for Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Development, Camp Hill, PA, USA
My experience with Oasis is that it is a space in which I am both deeply received and opened.....a refuge and an oasis. It has truly become a place of 'ahhhh', where I almost immediately experience a sense of peace within myself, a return to who I am, and a sense of well-being and wholeness. I am restored to my center in Love, from which I can go forth into the other places of my life with a heart full and at peace.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the way in which I feel about myself, and the ways in which I can carry that feeling with me into life.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
buy it a retreat house!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the way in which I have found belonging and hope. The people.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
welcoming, warm, peaceful, whole, joyous, contemplative.
Ways to make it better...
Oasis had a physical home, where one might go for daily quiet time when one feels the need for sanctuary, solitude and/or prayer.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
communicating the Oasis experience so that others might find it. Their work is soo very experiential and transformative that words fall short.
