This organization has been volunteer led for many many years and successfully manages several endowments and many restricted funds that encourage women in the geosciences through scholarships, networking events/conferences, continuing education events and professional development.

The Foundation supports the mission of the Association for Women Geoscientists with strong financial support and outreach.

Before being a Board member of the Foundation, I was an at-large member of the Society throughout my many decades of employment as a geoscientist.
