Review for Mira Foundation USA, Southern Pines, NC, USA
For non-profit organizations, this one stands far about the rest. The chance they give to young blind children is amazing. By getting a MIRA Guide Dog early - 11-16 years of age - young blind children develop confidence and security and take responsibility for their dogs. MIRA is one outstanding organization with a group of the most dedicated people I have ever me.
I just saw their video of the Evaluation Weekend that that had in Pinehurst in April 2014. The psychiatrist who is a consultant to the organization stated so clearly what a guide dog can do for these young blind children. He is one outstanding spokesperson for this amazing organization.
I have worked with people who have physical challenges and I have never seen an organization so clearly working toward its goals. Everyone is so dedicated and kind and so willing to help.
If you want to donate, this is the organization that will let you see the true value of your donation.
I truly love MIRA.
