Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
Our first visit to this sanctuary was during spring break. It was AMAZING! I wish I had known about this place years ago! As you drive up you can hear the lions roaring and see some of the animals already. The sky walk is a very different experience than most zoos - so much easier to really see the lions, the wolves and bears. We went later in the day (check their website for closing time) so we could have the best chance of hearing lions. Even though we were there practically until the last minute they were open the staff was still super friendly and helpful. I wanted to visit again as soon as we left!
