Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is completely tops in my book. I donate as much as i can afford to this organization. I visit the Sanctuary frequently and the good they do is so incredibly obvious. The animals are healthy happy and clearly at peace. TWAS provides dignity to animals that have unfortunately experienced horrific abuse. It is remarkable to me to see how quickly their rescues respond to the love and care they provide. They flourish so quickly! Pat and his team live humbly and dedicate their lives to these creatures. Their selflessness is inspiring to me. There is no question in my mind that every dollar I donate goes to the benefit of the rescued animals and therefore I am generous. I have the utmost respect for what they do and feel so fortunate that this wonderful facility is near me. If I could rate them 10 stars I would.

I couldn't love this place more. Everyone from the staff members to the volunteers greet guests with enthusiasm and impressive knowledge. The animals look incredibly healthy and happy. It's tragic that humans put these magnificent creatures in a situation where they needed to be rescued, but it's heartening to see what Pat Craig and his team have done to ensure that these lovely beasts have the opportunity to peacefully live out their lives in this tremendous sanctuary.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The only thing I would change are the laws that create the need for such a place. Humans can be really stupid. The Wild Animal Sanctuary rights those wrongs and I wouldn't change a thing about the place.
