I live in California and have not had the opportunity to visit the facility myself; however, I see updates on line and on Facebook many times and I say without hesitation that these folks are genuine and have the biggest hearts to take in the large animals they do to let them live a life without cages, circuses, or other abuse. I have seen videos of the founder as well as the facility. I see a lot of photos of different animals on Facebook - without a doubt, these animals are well cared for - they look very, very healthy and happy out in the acreage provided. The Animal Sanctuary is truly on my "bucket list" - very near the top.
