It is just a beautiful place, so peaceful. The animals are well taken care and allowed to live out their lives in wonderful environment.
Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
The first time that I went to the sanctuary, I was so impressed. I found out a week or two later there was a chance that it might close. I adopted two animals and I have never been sorry that I did. In the years since the sanctuary has grown quickly but it has not lost sight of their main mission, giving wild animals that had no place else to go, a home. The animals are cared for and not expected to do anything but live out their lives in wonderful surrounding. I can not say enough good things about the sanctuary. I love to go out there just to see the animals and watch as they play, sleep, eat and everything else that an animal should do plus they are in wide open habitates and not cramped cages.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
buy more land to make sure that there will always be a buffer between the sanctuary and development.
