Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I visited the sanctuary about 2 years ago as I had moved to the area. I was overjoyed with what I saw. It is open, comfortable and the animals are all relaxed and happy. If you have been to a zoo and seen the bears and cats you will notice is they pace. That was the thing that I noticed first off at the sanctuary is these animals are calm, relaxed and they don't pace. They have room to live how they are suppose to live and because they don't allow the public right up next to the enclosures the animals don't feel the pressure of humans. But they have a viewing area which gives you a great view of all the animals without putting pressure on the animals. The sanctuary's first priority is the animals and for that I applaud their work.
