Review for K9s For Warriors, Ponte Vedra, FL, USA
I happened to be at a traffic light one day and noticed the van in front of me had "K-9s For Warriors" on it. I knew the organization must have something to do with my two favorite things in life - Veterans and K-9s. I couldn't wait to get home and research this organization. That day changed my life forever. Through K-9s For Warriors, a veteran suffering from PTSD or TBI is paired with a rescued shelter dog and train together for 3 weeks. During that 3 weeks, dog and warrior learn to depend on each other and navigate the world again. The bond and the friendship is undeniable. I am lucky enough to be a small part of this organization by preparing homemade meals for these wonderful warriors during their stay.

It is wonderful just how it is. They are currently trying to help more veterans by moving to a larger facility.
