Review for Partners in Health a Nonprofit Corporation, Boston, MA, USA
I and the firm where I am a partner, Sterling Stamos Capital, have been enthusiastic supporters of Partners in Health (PIH) for many years. In 2004 I visited PIH in Cange, about a three hours drive outside Port au Prince, and was fortunate to attend rounds with Dr. Paul Farmer. As a physician, I can attest to the superb quality of health care that PIH provides to the poorest of poor in some of the most challenging conditions imaginable. As a donor, I am confident that our money was well spent. In fact, I can't think of a better social investment.

Haiti where I observed the doctors at several clinics. I also know the organization inside and out having met with the principals of the non profit on many occasions in NY, Boston, DC, SF and Palo Alto.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the ethos of every member who works for the organization. The Haitian, Cuban and American doctors, nurses and health workers are extremely committed to serving the poor -- as if the patients were their own family members.

expand services within Haiti to serve the ongoing needs of the poor, particularly after the devastating earthquake.
