Review for Florida Yorkie Rescue, Inc., Palm City, FL, USA
I have loved this rescue for many years! I run a rescue transport out of Alabama, 3 years ago an awful yorkie puppy mill was discovered, they were just keeping them in cages outside and in the winter many would die and just trown into a barn. We called FL Yorkie Rescue who stepped right and took several who had never been vetted, they were all taken wonderful care of and placed in loving homes. Just last week I volunteered to pull one for them out of a kill shelter in the FL Panhandle. This little 7 lb morkie was likely used by a backyard breeder and dumped due to a huge tumor needing removed. She was transported and had surgery and will be fine and ready for her furever home soon. I cannot say enough about ehat a wonderful job this rescue does. So many people think yorkie resues must be rooling in donations but that is not true. So many have medical issues and need gelp when they get there but the right treatment, they live happy lives. Please help Florida Yorkie Rescue!

They get no better than FL Yorkie Rescue! I am Vice President of AL Rescue Relay, we help transport shelter dogs in AL to rescues. In December of 2013 a large Yorkie puppy mill was discovered in AL. I called FL Yorkie Rescue who took several of them. Puppy Mill dogs have some major challenges, they have never been vetted or socialized . They did an amazing job with the ones they took , I am very thankful for their existence ......

Thank you Gale for your kind words of support and for making us aware of these precious babies that we were fortunate enough to help rescue from horrendous condition in Alabama. All but one has been adopted and are now making their transition into a normal routine. Oh what they must think now.... being shown unconditional love by their new owners, having food to eat, clean bedding to sleep in... and living indoors away from the harsh cold elements they suffered from for so long. God bless YOU for the work you do!
