We have hosted multiple gelding clinics at our farm and are incredibly grateful for the service that NERN provides to our community. Each clinic is professionally orchestrated and the care given to all of the horses by the vets, assistants and volunteers is absolutely top notch. Shirley is an amazing force of nature who works tirelessly to provide much needed care for horses in need, assist rescues and connect so many to a wealth of resources. We have adopted many animals that have come from deplorable situations of overbreeding and wholeheartedly support NERN's efforts to control the overpopulation of horses. The affordable castration of horses not only helps this mission, but also allows rescues to geld their colts and stallions which make the far more likely to find a permanent home.
