Review for The Lev Foundation, Beverly Hills, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Lev Foundation, in honor of Daniel D. Levian, has become an incredibly powerful force in our community in just a short while. This has been due in most part by a dedicated board, an incredibly supportive member base, and a willingness from other organizations to take part in collaborating efforts/events for the community. LEV recognizes that in order to successfully address the underlying issues facing our youth, a multi-faceted approach – incorporating education and community wide outreach – is necessary to achieve a positive impact. LEV’s three Core Campaigns are designed to complement one another to proactively raise our generation to a new level of responsible, productive, and balanced lifestyles. Just as Jewish law imparts the notion that “The world stands upon three pillar”; so too does LEV believe that each Core Campaign cannot succeed without the others. Daniel Levian, a loyal friend and spirit of the foundation, has been an inspiration to those who have put endless volunteer hours to do whatever it takes to keep Daniel's name alive. I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the areas of community programs and events, education and outreach, and transportation solutions.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

lol. how do i answer this one ?

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the impact on the community. The results have been nothing short of amazing and this is very evident through the emails, phone calls, and personal feedbacks we recieve from our members.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

extremely passionate, dedicated staff who are willing to do whatever it takes to give a helping hand to LEV when needed.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

impact the entire country in bringing an entirely new level of mentality to its people. focusing on living a more responsible and balanced lifestyle. As a result, many lives would be saved.

Ways to make it better...

we did not solely rely on private donations and had some financial support through the local government, and other charitable organizations via grants and other donations to help carry forth our new ideas and programs.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

creating the shift in mindset at an early age in the community's youth. a lot of the issues that are tackled by the foundation involve responsible decision making and we try very hard to instill that at a young age, hence the creation of LEV Club.

One thing I'd also say is that...

i am extremely proud of being a big part of the foundation. it has gone above and beyond my expectations in such a short while, and the self reward without a doubt has been incredible. i hope that others will feel the same way about being part of LEV.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
