Review for Ojai Valley Green Coalition, Ojai, CA, USA
I was feeling powerless with the overwhelmingly negative news about our environment and looked for an organization to join that would not only allow me to make a difference but work with others of like mind. I've been with the OVGC for about two years and the dedication and heartfelt concern while working to keep our planet/people/living things healthy and educated is an inspiration that never ends. The number of projects (watershed, energy efficiency, education, community service, seed swap, Earth Day, e-waste events, Green Home Tour, and more) done on a shoe string budget is astounding and has made a huge difference in our town. Like politics, all environment concerns are local - please donate and become a member today.
