I went here with my little brothers Boy Scout troop, we helped clean up plants and broken limbs, etc. What we did felt so little in the comparison of what needed to be cleared up after the hurricane hit. Lisa was so grateful for what we did no matter how little. As a thank you, she took us on the tour and showed us the animal and background information on them. The best part of the whole trip was seeing how she respected the animals and the space that necessary for them. She moved the tour on when an animal got uncomfortable with the large group. She doesn't want the animals to be pets, she justs wants them to live comfortable and as close to a natural habitat that she's able to give them. It was truly a trip that I will remember. Troop 320 also had a great time helping and learning about the animals. Thank you Lisa and Kurt for caring about the animals so much!
