My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Rescue Bank, Houston, TX, USA
I am the director of K9 Airlift, a nonprofit animal rescue located in Crosby, Texas. My husband and I are retired federal agents and knew little about running a nonprofit organization when we first established K9 Airlift. Not only has the Rescue Bank provided high quality pet food at affordable prices for our rescued animals, they have also helped guide us in many aspects of maintaining an animal rescue, such as providing training, assisting us in networking when a particular need was identified, tips on fundraising, and the emotional support when a rescue attempt was unsuccessful. The most profound accomplishment of the Rescue Bank is an exponential gain for the entire Houston area rescue community. This is due in no small part to the unique skill sets that Elizabeth Asher and John Cane bring to bear in their efforts on behalf of this organization. I cannot fully describe the admiration and respect I have for these individuals and this organization, they have literally saved thousands of animals.
