Review for Wounded Warrior Project, Jacksonville, FL, USA
As an Afghanistan and Iraqi Veteran Army Veteran, I see plenty of organizations who 'want' to help returning veterans and their families. WWP has been doing it, and doing it well for over ten years. I became and Alumni around 2010 and couldn't be more happy with my experience. From outings with the family, to getting to know other veterans, they doing everything in a first-class manner. I have met some great friends through this program, people who I am able to lean on in difficult times, and people who call me up to do the same. I have since gone on to become a Peer Mentor, and continue to try and give back to this organization that has done so much for me. As a member of several veteran-service organizations, I cannot think of a better organization of which to be a part. I am forever thankful to Wounded Warrior Project.

I think some folks not involved still don't really understand the entire scope of what WWP does. I'd love the opportunity to really be able to open the eyes of the general public to the great things WWP accomplishes.
