The actions of the rescue's founder are unethical and morally wrong. The goal of a rescue is to reunite a lost dog with it's owner and find homes for unwanted animals, not serve as a base for the founder's personal grudges and agenda. It is truly scary to find that an organization would withhold a dog from it's rightful owners. COSR needs to be shut down, there are other good, decent rescues out there to support. This fight to return Piper to her LAWFUL owners is not going to go away, as a pet owner (4 dogs,1 cat, 3 horses) I will contribute to the legal battle. If one of my babies were being held hostage like Piper is, I would move heaven and hell to get them back. BEWARE of this rescue!!
