I have volunteered with KHTC for a few years now and had the priviledge of working with the most dedicated and caring people. I've transported pound dogs to Recues and adopters, and rescues to training for being a service dog, and I've taken dogs into my home for overnights in their multi-day journey to cities and towns where they are wanted and will be adopted into great homes.

Kindred Hearts leadership, coordinators and volunteers are focused on the well-being and safety of the critters they transport, whether they are going across a single state or across the country and even across borders. They involve and engage a large number of teams that come together for each transport, and each transport gets the attention, coordination and support to be successful. They maintain standards that are far in excess of what other transports I have worked with use. This is really an amazing organzation!

This rescue organization does not conduct itself in s moral and ethical manner. Stolen dogs and lost or missing dogs who find their way into this rescue organization have little or no chance of redemption.
Imagine if your dog got loose and you knew it was at this rescue, but they refused to return your dog. Frightening.

Now imagine adopting s dog from this organization, and finding out a year or do later that the dog is chipped and has been missing/stolen for a year or so. How heartbreaking.
