In this contemporary world. it is quite necessary to take drastic and noticeable steps if one has to improve the economic condition of India. Social work, especially pertaining to rural development should be inclined towards economic upliftment of rural poor. RSKS has certainly set up several milestones in this regard.
SHG Federations is a very wide concept and RSKS has done mastery in this area.Under SHG programme RSKS not only promoted self reliance among the villagers [Peesangan, Jawaja, Bhinay, Masuda and Shrinagar Blocks] but has also trained them in various skilled related activities like handicrafts, food processing, milk production training, cycle repairing etc. which has in turn helped in increasing monthly income of many rural families. Paathshala Programme-related to educational cum vocational training to rural women is also an innovative idea, which has made these women aware about their social and legal rights along with financial and hygiene awareness.
RSKS is inclined towards social welfare and is really working hard. I am happy to be part of this organisation.
