I was extremely disappointed in the adoption process with this agency. Our intention was to be a one dog family and give an older dog an excellent and loving home in a beautiful community with access to excellent care, exercise and nutrition.

We filled out the application, had a home visit with the "foster family" who were very encouraging but warned us that the vet who operates the agency is abrasive, intrusive, and not well liked at many of the veterinary facilities from which she attempts to collect records. I naively assumed that my cooperation in providing all records with regard to my previous animals, a good report from the "foster" family along with Maggie's demonstrated affection for our youngest child would make the approval of our adoption easy.

I couldn't have been more wrong! Our family was rejected because we didn't have a completely fenced in yard and the vet felt we did not meet her standards of care. Holy what????

In my opinion, this agency has likely prevented a great number of dogs from enjoying loving homes where they would be the center of attention rather than one dog in a pack of 14 farmed out to a foster family.

I cannot recommend this agency in good conscience to anyone seeking to adopt a pet. It was a needlessly heartbreaking experience for all of our children.
