My Nonprofit Reviews

ddiver
Review for Reef Environmental Education Foundation, Inc., Key Largo, FL, USA
I started volunteering for REEF about 10 years ago, and my diving has never been more interesting. Each time I go in the water I'm challenged to find and ID more fish which makes my dives much more fun and at the same time I'm gathering data which is used by scientists, fishery management groups, other divers... basically anyone who wants to know which fish are where. Between dive trips I really enjoy the free online webinars that happen about once a month as a way to keep my feet wet and get together with other cool fish geeks. I've met some of the most fun and fascinating divers in this group, some of whom have a truely contagious enthusiasm for learning about the marine ecosystem. If you're looking for a group that will make your dives more interesting and fun that you can really feel good about, REEF is a great choice!
