I've worked with Australian Shepherds Furever for 4 years and as the medical advisor and a board member I am aware of the hard work and tireless efforts of all the volunteers and officers of the rescue. The dogs come first and their health and well being is paramount. Many rescues simply accept the intake vetting from shelters and leave it at that without additional veterinary followup. This is unacceptable for complete medical care and ASF makes every effort to see the rescue dogs get the medical care they need and deserve. The rescue makes itself available to fosters and adopters (even after adoption) to offer suggestions and recommendations along with followup concerning behavior, ongoing training, and medical care. Australian Shepherds Furever is a stand-out as a rescue and I'm glad to be a part of such an ethical organization.

Impressed with their dedication and attention to detail regarding the dogs they rescue and adopt out. Thankfully they never let up and they care about health, welfare and good forever homes.
