Review for National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., Frisco, TX, USA
Humboldt Community Breast Health Project (HCBHP) in Arcata, California is grateful to the NBCF for the Breast Health Navigator grant we are currently fulfilling, which is all about developing and leveraging relationships to get low income women in Humboldt County the care they need and deserve. HCBHP works closely with another grantee, Mad River Community Community Hospital, also in Arcata, funded to provide screening and diagnostic mammograms as well as breast ultrasound for those women who cannot afford them. As partners in health care, we are able to maximize the benefits of these two grants to better serve women in our rural area.
