Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA
I've been a volunteer at In-Sync for roughly 2 years now, and another review hit the nail on the head when they said they don't know who rescues who. I come to the sanctuary after having a bad day, bad week, bad month, etc, and one chuff from my favorite cats or a few fence rubs from the lions that you worked SO HARD to gain the trust of will change my mood completely. These cats are the epitome of forgiveness and learning to trust again. After all they have been through, they still find it in them to lift their heads each morning, put on a show for the staff and volunteers by means of showing off in their pools or with their barrels, ripping up their enrichment, or just plain by being absolutely adorable. They come from the absolute worst conditions and yet find it in them to love again. We could learn so much from them. These cats rescued me. They saved me. From myself, from others, and from life itself. They are my happiness, and as long as this place is around, I'll be here to stay.
Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA
In Sync is my home away from home, and each cat there touches my heart in a different way. I have never felt so passionate about something as I do when talking about what I do at In Sync to someone who has never been there before. To earn your first tiger chuff and to be standing right in front of a lion as they sing...it really is unlike any other feeling. It is a blessing to be able to call myself a volunteer here. The staff are amazing and so incredibly helpful. Their dedication to the cats shows every second, every hour, and every minute of the day, and they never deviate from the level of perfect care that they show each individual cat.
So blessed. I really am so blessed to be here.
