It was 2009, when I first was introduced to the CCDO and their amazing work in Northern Cambodia. The dozens of villages they work with are raising themselves out of poverty. Children are attending school on a regular basis, and competing for scholarships to pursue high education. And now preschools are popping up in each village to give every child a head start. I am a proud contributor to the work and vision of the CCDO and am excited to learn of new projects every year. Thank You Jenni and your amazing teams for the privilege to be involved in your life changing work.

After years in humanitarian relief work since 1999 in Cambodia, Nepal, Philippines, Guatemala, Haiti, Ecuador, Peru, Uzbekistan …. I finally found DaysForGirls or DaysForGirls found ME. THEN I set out to feel assured that this NGO was reaching that girl at the end of the mile. DaysForGirls has met every expectation and beyond, also fulfilling many SDG 2030 goals with this hands on assistance to keep girls in school. Period.
PLUS educating with our Women’s Health Education program that the recipients can share. AND giving recipients support to establish their own enterprises. This has been a WIN WIN WIN WIN. Oh and also reaching out in my own community. Add another WIN WIN.

From sponsoring my first water well in 2007 to now sponsoring a latrine on World Toilet Day in 2013, I look forward to supporting more of CCDO's projects: Monthly Clean House Awards, Teacher Sponsorships, whatever Jenni and Ksenija envision to help these under served communities catch up and contribute to their own 21st century. Siem Reap is developing so rapidly - and these communities will now be ready to participate fully and lead others by example. With every captivating CCDO newsletter I am continually surprised and inspired by more and more exciting projects with incredibly organized planning.
