I have benefitted from the existence of CDSS since a very early age. Having grown up in the contra dance community, I was surrounded by excellent role models for multi-generational community and what it means to connect with many people.

CDSS provides so many means of support for these and other tradition American folk arts that would otherwise have to rely on only local knowledge, resource, and community.
