KEVS Foundation is making a difference in Monson, MA! On behalf of the Monson Athletic Boosters I recently filled out a request with KEVS Foundation for a portable AED. We were chosen and will receive the AED this Friday April 18th. We currently have AED's in all three of our schools but not on or close to all of our athletic fields. This is a great start to our mission of making AED's available on all our athletic fields and spreading the awareness and education learned from KEVS Foundation. With all the education we have received from KEVS Foundation we recently had our entire High School coaching staff trained on AED usage and CPR. In addition, KEVS Foundation sponsored a FREE heart screening for children 13-19 at our middle school. We were able to screen 50 kids that day and spread the AED and CPR awareness in our small town. We will continue to work hard on our mission and are forever greatful to KEVS Foundation.
