As a Board Member, donor and a veteran hiker for Wilderness Heals, I am honored that I get the opportunity to help in fulfilling our mission to help those in need. The Stone House and it’s marvelous staff do is grueling, intense, and very much needed work to break cycles of violence and addiction. This organization and its staff are always growing and evolving and all of that hard work will only lead to better outcomes for the community we serve. Thank you for all the work you do and please continue striving to help our most vulnerable populations.

Does a wonderful job of helping families really deal with all of the aspects of domestic violence. I have been doing their annual wilderness heals hike for 6+ years (next year is their 25th year) and it has been a wonderful experience that I would recommend to others. The staff is wonderful and the mission is very important. I also started serving on their Board and hope to continue to be able to help this organization grow and succeed.

I love working with the staff of ESH and helping the beneficiaries of ESH reach their self-sufficiency goals. This organization is staffed with people who work very hard for the wellbeing of not just the folks that reside at ESH, but also of the community as a whole. ESH tries, and succeeds, in teaching folks to be better informed about domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental illness, but also helps the children of those impacted by these societal ills to learn to stop the cycles that tend to come along when dealing with such ills. I have been involved with ESH for 5+ years now and have nothing but positive things to say about this organization. I can only hope that more folks in the Commonwealth and beyond learn about the wonderful mission of ESH and help ESH accomplish its goals.
