I have been donating to Beauty’s Haven for about 4 years now. Teresa and her volunteers do such wonderful work. You can see and feel the love they have for these animals. Some of the horses they have rescued have been literally on death’s door. Teresa has spent countless hours nursing and caring for them. She does not give up! She has a special bond with them and seems to know if they have the will and strength to go on or if it’s time to send them across the rainbow bridge. 100% of the donations go to the rescue. There is no administration fees taken out. Teresa and her volunteers do this because they love animals, especially farm animals.

BHFER is a godsend for so many horses in need. The rescue is run by Theresa and her husband Bob. Theresa is retired from a "regular" job but now works 24/7 doing what she loves...saving horses and donkeys. BHFER has had many cases where the animal would have died within hours had they not taken them in. Most times they really did not have the room or funds but somehow Theresa found both. This is probably the most selfless Equine rescue I have seen. If you can only give to one charity please make it BHFER!
