I adopted my baby girl from FHS in December of 2006. I started the process in October of that year. The two month delay was due to her health. She needed to be seen by a vet for mange and FHS wanted to make sure she received vet care and was in perfect health before they let me sign official paperwork. My baby girl was born blind and deaf and was in a special foster for her condition (blindness and deafness). FHS did everything in their power to provide great care for her as soon as they were made aware of her health. She is my sweet Angel Aikman, and I will forever be in debt to FHS for blessing me with her! She is a very special girl, and I am lucky enough to call her mine.
