Review for North Texas Food Bank, Plano, TX, USA
I volunteered with the NTFB at their warehouse and also at the Cedar Hill Food Pantry (conducting the annual survey). I especially enjoyed the experience at the Cedar Hill Food Pantry because I personally got to meet the people that actually pick up the food and benefit from this wonderful charity. They are everyday people experiencing life's hardships. The staff at the food pantry was so nice and went out of their way to make sure these people felt welcomed and got everything they needed. If I had more free time, I would volunteer at this food pantry. I plan to spend more time volunteering with the NTFB in 2010.
