"When creating a safety plan with one of my clients, we were having trouble coming up with a thorough plan for safety. She expressed that she really liked art, but when she was heightened, she never knew what to draw or do. This caused her to disregard art as a reliable coping skill to use when this got tough -- until we looked through the Express It book. My client thought the prompts and animations were "fun," and it became one of her favorite strategies for coping with really hard lows and urges."

"I had a student that struggled so much with naming 3 things she liked about herself and 3 things she liked about someone else.  It gave me a much deeper understanding of her self-confidence and lead to a great conversation on introducing this topic with her.  She is 11."

They also wanted to improve their relationship with their younger sister who was also having similar experiences, causing both of them to be easily frustrated with each other. After trying a few things, I provided my client with two Express It books. The books are something they can do together or alone, depending on their mood or the situation. My client has reported that they love the book and that it is something both of them enjoy doing - together and alone." 

I am a long-time volunteer with Free2Luv and LUV everything this organization stands for! I'm filled with pride knowing they are transforming the lives of so many youth. For the past few years, they have created mental wellness safe spaces for events like Emerald City Comic Con that are providing LGBTQ+ youth and their allies judgment-free spaces to express themselves creatively and freely express their identities. We have had so many parents and attendees tell us how important these spaces are and thank us for providing a place where youth can be who they truly are. I look forward to seeing all of the new and innovative ways Free2Luv will continue to meet and reach youth we're they're at ... I'm so happy to be on this journey with them, and I encourage anyone reading this to support Free2Luv any way you can.

I have volunteered for Free2Luv for many years, and I am so proud of everything they do to empower, nurture, and support our youth. For the past few years, our youth have been struggling with mental illness more than ever before, and Free2Luv is helping fill that need with EXPRESS IT! a powerful and impactful behavioral health program. It has been so amazing to witness the growth of this program! Over 10,000 youth have creatively expressed themselves with EXPRESS IT! activity books, and we've formed partnerships with over 200 youth-serving organizations to bring this program to communities across the U.S. And the most amazing thing is that this program is offered entirely free of charge, supporting marginalized and under-resourced youth who often lack access.

I have had the pleasure of volunteering for Free2Luv for many years and 2019 was an amazing year filled with growth and change. We are now servicing over 35,000 under-resourced youth every year through our arts and music programming! Wow! I am extremely excited for what 2020 has in store for this incredible organization. Free2Luv was just named a Twitch Partner and this huge platform is going to provide a big opportunity to have even more conversations with youth on a global level. If you are looking for an organization to support who directly impacts the lives of youth in need, you have found it. I couldn't be happier to support their mission to create a kinder, braver, more loving world for all youth.

I have been a part of this movement for several years and it's been an amazing journey. I have witnessed the growth that has brought Free2Luv's life-enhancing programming to more and more youth in need every year. Their arts and music programs and events are top-notch and the impact they make on youth and teens is so profound. Countless people have shared how much Free2Luv means to them and it's definitely one of the most rewarding parts of being a part of this incredible nonprofit. It's an absolute honor to work with this amazing group of people to make a difference in lives around the globe. This year we are producing a female empowerment event with an incredible line-up of passionate, talented, amazing, and diverse women. I know this event is going to make a big impact on the lives of everyone who attends and we are thrilled to have groups from underserved communities join us as our guests. It's going to be an incredible gift to everyone who experiences it. It's with tremendous pride and excitement that I witness the daily growth of this amazing, life-changing nonprofit. It moves me to see how many lives are enhanced through their empowerment program and initiatives. Their Free2BeME Project uses art to connect with kids and over the past 2 years, this program has grown with Advocates sharing it all over the country. It has proven to be such a powerful vehicle to help kids get in touch with themselves, each other and the world around them. The art that pours out from their hearts is so beautiful and 'real'. I am so excited to begin a new year working with this amazing organization! Every year Free2Luv grows and extends their reach to serve more and more youth suffering from bullying and low self-esteem. A highlight for me in 2015 was having Seattle's Mayor Ed Murray acknowledge our service by honoring Free2Luv with an official ROCK KINDNESS Day and having celebrities and companies come together in celebration. Bringing our important message to underserved youth and sharing our powerful new Free2BeME Project with them was such a thrill. To see youth transform before your eyes and grow a new awareness of themselves and each other is the greatest reward and with Free2Luv, we all have this experience daily. Please support this beautiful group of people in any way you can. They truly are making the world a more loving place for us all.

I am always honored to talk about this fantastic nonprofit. The commitment and passion of everyone who is a part of this organization inspires me on a daily basis. I see the impact Free2Luv is making on people everywhere and I'm so happy to be a part of this family, dedicated to making the world a more accepting, beautiful place. Free2Luv creates an environment where people feel safe and maybe even more importantly, inspired. I am so thrilled to have found this amazing organization! I not only love their mission but I love working with all of the committed, amazing & passionate people at Free2Luv!
