Review for Neighbor Ride Inc, Columbia, MD, USA
I saw a car with a Neighbor Ride magnet on it as I was taking my son to the pediatrician one day. I had been looking for an opportunity to start volunteering my time, but finding something that fit my schedule as a mom was difficult. I did some research online, and it sounded perfect. I started by taking the minimum two riders a month, but after meeting a particular gentleman whose regular trip to the gym was short and convenient, I began picking up almost all of his trip requests. My 2 year old son knows him now, and we have great conversations on classical music as we listen to the radio on the way to the gym! This has been a great opportunity to give back, to expose my son to serving others, and to meet some interesting people!
