Review for Twin Cities Community Voice Mail, St. Paul, MN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am an RN CAse Manager working telephonically with patients across all walks of live, including homeless men, woman and children. The voicemail services provided by Twin Cities Community Voice Mail is a crucial service to bring case management nursing care to the homeless population. An RN Case Manager provides advocacy, self-care education, coordination among health care providers, therapeutic support and contact for community resources. I would say confidential voicemail is my primary contact for reaching the homeless population that are insured by Medicaid and General Medical Assistance.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

case management nursing patients who do have voicemail services via TCCVM.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

give them recognition for what they achieve with the resources they have.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

An opportunity to attend all day programs to provide needed services to homeless men, women and children, i.e. dental care, hair cuts, voicemail.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

committed employees and boardmembers who work hard and creatively to keep the voicemail services available to users.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

attend to the mental health illness and chemical dependency that most homeless people experience.

Ways to make it better...

there were more phones that the homeless population could access. Public pay phones have been all but eliminated.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Challenges brought by the disappearing public phones brings an opportunity on how to deliver cellphones to homeless populations.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I've said enough.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
