Review for Reading Tree, San Francisco, CA, USA
As both a Spanish bilingual special education teacher, I hold The Reading Tree in high esteem. The classes and free board books, provided in Spanish for parents of 0-36 month old children help families of limited income establish home environments where enjoying books together is the daily norm. This, in turn, promotes future readers who arrive in kindergarten positioned for great school success. It is an honor to be a board member of such a great organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the enjoyment both parents and their babies and toddlers experience by sharing books together.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the value participants feel in attending classes and receiving high-quality children's literature in their native language.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
fabulous, highly-committed individuals who see great value in promoting a love of books and shared family reading time.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide classes and free board books to low-income parents throughout the Bay Area, perhaps even all of California.
