Seeing the face of Christ in those we served was easy when working with MG. The Mayan people are so warm and welcoming and so proud--rightfully--of their heritage. Our construction work on a school/community area was physically demanding, but the opportunity it afforded us to interact with the locals--especially the adorable children--made it all worthwhile. Back at MG's home base, we were well taken care of with lots of good food, comfortable but not lavish accommodations, and a spirit of concern that we get to know and appreciation the Guatemalan people.
