Review for Mid Cities Basketball Association, Bedford, TX, USA
Not recommended due to referees allowing kids to play out of control and league officials not running leagues with true concern for the youth. I've never been as disappointed in a youth league as I have been with this one and I can truly say that I've been happy with others. Highly recommend finding a better place to play for your kids. I've heard good things about several other leagues. Referees are chippy and extremely unprofessional and league officials deny responsibility. The head of the referees is rarely at the gym due to other refereeing responsibilities.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make sure the referees had true oversight. Make sure the referees were willing to talk to coaches in a professional and constructive way. Make sure all fouls and violations are called so that kids can learn the true spirit of the game. Make sure the commissioners kid does not coach one of the teams in his/her division. I wish youth leagues were well run with referees and officials putting all they have in the games for the kids.
