To whom it may concern: My name is Marcus and I’m currently enrolled at Breaking Grounds/Apl Teaching Factory. This is my second tenure here. And personally this has been the best experience of my life. When I was here for the summer session it was a nurturing atmosphere. I hadn’t completed anything since 1997, the year I graduated. My self-esteem shot through the roof. The Teaching Factory, is more than just a school. It grooms people for the bigger picture,” LIFE”. My life has done a complete 360. I have become a better person in morals, values and personal judgment. Every morning there is a complete since of urgency, because the students want to achieve something that’s obtainable. The daily devotion excites the mind about personal conflict and daily issues. The administrative staff is more than courteous and exceeds the normal standard when it comes to dealing with the students needs. In closing when you feel there is no hope, when you get disgusted or when you can’t get any lower; there is always a place for you, here! Cordially, Marcus A. Powell
