Review for Shadow Cats Rescue, Round Rock, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

In my opinion, there are not enough superlatives that adequately describe Shadow Cats Rescue! I and my family have known and supported Shadow Cats for 18 years beginning with Sheila Smith teaching my mother and I how to humanely TNR community cats in our neighborhood. From that experience my family's support and love grew for Shadow Cats.

From a donor's perspective, Shadow Cats is not only well organized and genuine in their compassion and caregiving of the cats but they are extremely transparent with sharing how your financial support is utilized. They are very responsible with how funds are spent. Not only does Shadow Cats care for the Sanctuary cats but they also do a lot of outreach to neighboring counties to help other cat rescues and organizations most of which are small and, while they do good work, need help to fulfill their missions. We are all in this together!

I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Shadow Cats Rescue!

Shadow Cats is a forever sanctuary for cats otherwise unadoptable whether they be FIV+, elderly or with behavioural issues. Everyone there is so very kind and compassionate and truly cares for each kitty and their well-being. Shadow Cats also educates and advocates for TNR to help put an end to pet overpopulation. Sheila Smith helped me and my mother learn how to humanely trap our little feral cat community and then have them neutured and returned (well, I adopted several of the kittens!). I wholeheartedly endorse Shadow Cats!
